- He was found guilty of manslaughter and unlawful wounding in Gloucester on 13 January 2014. He killed his 30-year-old friend and wounded his 47-year-old friend during a fight at a ground floor flat in Gloucester. He armed himself with two knives before stabbing his 30-year-old victim in the eye. His victim fell from a window into the basement stairwell below. He then stabbed his 47-year-old victim once in the chest before fleeing from the scene. His 30-year-old victim died in hospital from his injuries on 21 January 2014. He was found not guilty of murder and wounding with intent.
The judge said: "He was a friend... I accept that ... you feel deep regret and remorse for killing your friend. But kill him you did." - Case Timeline
