- She was found guilty of murder in Dagenham, Greater London, on 2 September 2015. She was the main carer for her 67-year-old father, who suffered from multiple sclerosis, when she suffocated him with a plastic bag at their home. The court heard that he developed multiple sclerosis (MS) in 1995 and lost his wife in 2008. He became bed-ridden in 2014 and his daughter became his full-time carer. She claimed to have carried out the killing after he asked her to help him die.
The judge said: "I accept your evidence that your father did raise the question of ending his own life and he wanted to do that and wanted your help to do so." - Online Resources
