- He was found guilty of buggery, indecent assault and indecency with a child relating to historic sex offences in Gloucestershire between 1975 and 1985. He was found not guilty of a further count of buggery. The court heard that he was aged between 14-years-old and 16-years-old when he started abusing his three victims, a girl and two boys aged between 8-years-old and 9-years-old.
The judge said: "It was predatory, sequential and it was an abuse of trust... over a very long period... It was persistent. It was painful and humiliating and never forgotten. You issued threats, you used bribery and what you did to these three children has had an inconceivable effect on their lives." - Case Timeline
