- He was a member of an organised criminal network who smuggled heroin into Britain by driving it through the Channel Tunnel in the boot of a car. 330.7kg of heroin with an estimated street value of £33 million was transported through Customs in the boot of a vehicle. Chana was under surveillance and arrested when boxes of the drug were transferred to his vehicle at a service station. The Metropolitan Police's Central Task Force confirmed that this was the biggest heroin seizure by any UK police force to date.
