- He was found guilty of conspiring to import and sell firearms into the UK and conspiracy to possess firearms with intent to endanger life in Kent on 10 August 2015. He was the ringleader of a gang who smuggled £100,000-worth of weapons into the UK mainland. The gang transported the weapons by boat (the MV Albernina) from Boulogne in France to Kent. The gang had been under surveillance (Operation Seventy - NCA and Kent Police) and officers seized 31 guns - 22 fully automatic rifles and 9 Skorpion machine pistols - 58 magazines and more than 1,500 rounds of ammunition.
