- He pleaded guilty to the murder of his 17-year-old half-brother at their family home in Lockleaze, Bristol, on 28 February 2016. He had been at a party with his victim and had been drinking and had taken drugs when he argued and fought with him before stabbing him ten times with a small potato knife. His victim suffered stab wounds to the face, leg, chest and back and died later in hospital. The court heard that he had stabbed his victim in the hand during a previous fight and his mother had banned him from the house in August 2015.
The judge said: "It is plain that what you did was to act in an extremely violent way with a knife in an explosion of temper... You have taken the life of your half-brother, who you loved. You have deprived your mother of a son and your siblings of a brother. You have also added to your own mother's grief by ruining your own life. The anguish which you have caused is immeasurable." - Mitigating & Aggravating Factors
