- He pleaded guilty to the murder of his 84-year-old victim in Rochdale on 4 October 2012. He knew his victim and had assisted him with shopping and odd jobs at his home. He had been entrusted with a key to his victims home where he waited for him to return. He attacked his victim in the kitchen with a mallet and stole his wallet. His victim suffered fractures to his skull and face. His body was discovered on 14 October 2012 after police were called to the address by concerned neighbours.
