- He was found guilty of murder, conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH) on 20 November 2011. The court heard that he had been recruited to attack his co-defendant's father outside a charity boxing match in Chelmsley Wood, West Midlands. He stabbed his 22-year-old victim to the abdomen. His victim was a complete stranger to those involved and, along with others, had tried to intervene in the initial attack. The 46-year-old father of the co-defendant, Liam Sean Cole, was stabbed to the abdomen with a machete and an 18-year-old man was struck to the head with a hammer.
