- She was found guilty of the offences which relate to her role between March 2006 and July 2009 where she and her partner conned elderly and vulnerable victims charging exorbitant prices for building works on their homes, some of it unnecessary, which were either not carried out or sub-standard (chartered surveyor expert witness). She had denied knowledge of bank accounts and claimed her partner was infact a lodger in the detached home they shared (Pant Gwyn in Waunfawr, Gwynedd). When investigating officers raided the property they discovered cash under cushions, a cutlery tray and in a freezer. She was remanded in Styal Prison for reports and missed her original sentencing hearing when her partner failed to attend the hearing.
The judge said: "You knew exactly what he was doing and you willingly were part of what was happening". - Case Timeline
