- He was the ringleader of a criminal gang, which included his son-in-law, who were caught by police with 3.2 tons of cannabis with an estimated street value of £15million as well as amphetamine worth £10,000 and over £170,000 in cash. The gang were thought to have smuggled the drugs and were the distribution hub for an international drugs ring. The Cannabis was found hidden inside flower boxes in a lock-up. Police discovered £100,000 in cash under the floorboards of his home.
