For over 35 years, BPP has been helping legal professionals realise their ambition. We are one of the largest providers of law courses and professional development in the UK, with a track record that speaks for itself. With branches in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Liverpool, London (Holborn and Waterloo) and Manchester, we train one third of all UK lawyers, and over 28 leading law firms choose us as the exclusive training provider for their employees.

BPP Law School offers an extensive range of programmes and degrees spanning all areas of legal education. Whichever you choose, the focus remains consistent: to get you ready for life in practice, with the relevant training and academic knowledge you need to be successful in the next step of your legal career.

All programmes combine high quality classroom materials, personal tutor support and innovative technology, and are available on a full-time, part-time and accelerated study basis:

In these difficult economic times, it's never been more important to stand out from the crowd. Passing the New York Bar exam will enhance your potential employment opportunities both in the US and the UK.

BPP offers the New York Bar course in the UK as exclusive UK distributor of Pieper Bar Review. The course is designed to prepare you to pass these challenging law exams (unlike some other courses that just teach you the law) and is tailored to lawyers who haven't studied in the US - so you do not need any prior knowledge of US Law.

The Higher Rights of Audience (HRA) course taught by expert BPP tutors enhances your professional capabilities, standing and fee-earning potential too.

The Professional Skills Course (PSC) is the final stage of your compulsory training to become a solicitor - preparing you for a smooth transition to life in a legal firm. The programme is designed to give you the variety, choice and flexibility to equip you with the practical skills and knowledge to progress in your chosen career. From September 2012, BPP are offering five routes of suggested Electives so you can tailor your training to your particular area of practice or choose from the entire BPP range of topics. BPP's PSC has been designed against the SRA specification and the CBI Employability Skills framework so you can monitor the development of your professional skills through your study with us.

BPP's QLTS Study Programme is designed to give you an introduction to, and comprehensive overview of, the assessable Day One Outcomes, these being the knowledge and skills assessed by the QLTS Assessments.

Available programmes include:
  • HRA (Higher Rights of Audience)
  • NYB (New York Bar)
  • LPC / PSC (Professional Skills Course) - from September 2013 students can study an MA (LPC with Business) making it the only LPC that integrates business into the programme, giving students a Masters degree in both law and business.
  • QLTS (Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme)
  • BPTC (Bar Professional Training Course) - currently available in London and Leeds, from 2013 the opportunity to study the BPTC at Manchester will become available.
  • CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
  • GDL
  • LLB
  • LLM
