I have over 15 years' experience of psychiatry across two continents. I have particular experience and expertise in mental health problems in children and young adults.
I accept instructions from:
a. Solicitors acting on behalf of young offenders
b. Local Authorities looking for advice on placements
c. Solicitors in compensation cases for negligence
d. Personal injury cases
e. Single joint expert in Care Proceedings
I have also provided second / third opinions on complex cases to NHS Trusts.
I am CRB checked and am an Approved Clinician under the Mental Health Act 2007. I work in the NHS in a Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). I also provide psychiatric input to the mental health team for Looked After Children (LAC) in Sheffield.
I am a member of the Society of Expert Witnesses and UK Register of Expert Witnesses.
