Kingston University Law School offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across a variety of legal fields. Our range of courses caters for students looking to undertake a qualifying law degree, enhance skills within a certain legal field or study law as part of a combination with another subject. Additionally we also have an established Law PhD programme with dedicated facilities, lifelong learning opportunities and continuous professional development. Many of our courses are recognised by professional bodies, illustrating their quality and relevance in today’s world.

We have close links with many local and national law firms who sponsor various activities. Several members of the judiciary, together with leading legal practitioners, act as visiting professors, fellows and visitors to the School, enabling students to integrate into the wider legal community. The full-time staff include many legal scholars whose research and publications place them in the forefront of legal learning and whose legal teaching has led to an award of National Teaching Fellow.

Kingston Law School is based at the Kingston Hill campus, which is set in landscaped gardens and is a beautiful place to study with plenty of green spaces. The campus has a good community feel thanks to its many on-site facilities, including teaching rooms and computer labs, a fully equipped music studio, halls of residence with rooms for 565 students, a bar, cafe and restaurant.

Kingston upon Thames has clubs ranging from the indie Bacchus to glitzy Oceana, lots of pubs and bars and restaurants.  There are also some University-affiliated cultural resources, including the Stanley Picker art gallery, the Dorich House art gallery; the Rose Theatre; and concerts, talks and other events.
