We are able to offer appointments within two weeks of receiving the instructions and reports within two weeks of the client being seen.

Medical Negligence Reports £550
We will notify you and the client for the scheduled appointment date, venue and time within 1 week upon receiving your instructions. Should your client fail to attend a scheduled appointment without providing 72 hours notice, would result in a charge for wasted clinic time being levied for which LifeCare will hold you responsible.
The above stated fee is subject to alteration on the volume of paperwork and the complexity of the case. Should the fees be higher than that stated , we will contact you rior to incurring the fee.
Expert Witness Fee
To attend court as a witness, regardless of time taken £2000 plus VAT per day
If under instruction from the instructing party, a trial date is reserved and the case is settled or cancelled, the following charges will apply
Within 2 weeks of Trial Date 50% of daily rate
Within 1 week of Trial Date 100% of daily rate
The fee for attendance to court will only be reduced as a result of Legal Aid if prior agreement has been reached under Section 20.01 of the Law Societies ‘ The Guide to the Professional Conduct of Solicitors’ if applicable.
All fees are due strictly within 90 days from the Invoice Date unless prior
agreement has been reached.
