I have been a fully accredited Accident & Emergency Consultant since 1988 and over the past 20 years have prepared over ten thousand medicolegal reports.

I am happy to consider all cases of a Personal Injury nature including:

    * Road traffic collisions

    * Incidents in the workplace or at home

    * Injuries associated with trips or falls

    * Medical negligence cases within my remit

    * Criminal Injury cases within my remit

    * Peer Reviews and Paper Reports

I have a special interest in neck injuries, head injuries and burns as well as a wide range of other soft tissue injuries commonly occurring in trauma.

I am able to offer appointments in Gloucester, Bristol, Birmingham, Stourbridge, Worcester, Manchester and now Cardiff.

My reports are in plain English but where necessary medical terms are explained in full.  I prefer to have all medical records prior to the examination to facilitate a CPR compliant report and one I feel I can argue in Court should it be necessary.

I am a member of the  UK Register of Expert Witnesses; British Medical Association; British Association for A&E Medicine; Faculty of A&E Medicine (Founding Fellow) and a 1st tier Expert of The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

I have been instructed by claimant representatives (70%) defendant 30% of which approximately 25% were joint instructions.  In addition, I have been involved in joint statements with colleagues, pre-trial negotiations and giving expert witness evidence in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.  The latter includes being cross-examined by Michael Mansfield QC in the Court of Appeal.

Medico-legal work has been a major interest and I have attended training seminars on Woolf reports, giving expert evidence in Court and report preparation in general.
