Our principal, David Muggridge, is a Chartered Certified accountant. Until March 2011, he was a partner in a larger Kent-based firm, but now runs his own practice, Ackland Webb, in Canterbury where he has lived for over 20 years.
David has extensive experience working with individuals and owner managed businesses and has advised a wide range of small and medium-sized companies, partnerships and sole traders on tax, accounting and other matters, for many years. David’s family has successfully owned and operated a trading company in the Canterbury area for over 40 years which, when combined with David’s professional experience, gives him a unique perspective on business ownership.
David is a registered auditor and has audited a wide variety of commercial and not-for-profit organisations, many from specialist business sectors. David's work in this field has taken him outside the UK.
David Muggridge is an accredited expert witness, experienced in providing litigation support and forensic accountancy services in a range of matters, including matrimonial proceedings, personal injury, partnership and shareholder disputes, loss of profits, commercial disputes and criminal matters. He has given evidence in Court.
David is a member of the Expert Witness Institute and of NIFA, the Network of Independent Forensic Accountants.
