- He was found guilty of indecent assault and inciting a child to perform an act of gross indecency relating to historic offences committed against ten schoolboys between 1972 and 1991 when he taught at St Ambrose RC College in Hale Barns, Altrincham, Greater Manchester. He was found not guilty on further counts of indecent assault relating to two boys and the jury could not reach verdicts on further offences allegegly committed against eight other children. He was a science teacher at the school when he abused his posiiton of trust to abuse his victims.
