- He was found guilty of manslaughter in Great Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, on 1 December 2017. He was drinking with his housemates, celebrating St Andrew's Day (a Romanian National Saints Day), when they argued and he and his co-defendant attacked their victim, punching and kicking him. His victim suffered head and brain injuries and died later in hospital.
