- He pleaded guilty to the murder of his estranged wife in Glastonbury, Gloucestershire, on 26 February 2015. He had discovered his 45-year-old victim had begun a new relationship, and led her to believe that he would be absent from the former marital home (which she had refused to return to while he was present due to his history of domestic violence) when she went to pick up her 10-year-old daughter. He used a kitchen knife to stab his victim in the back garden of their former marital home. His victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the neck, chest and abdomen and died instantly.
The judge said: "You had clearly planned your attack, fueled by your jealous rage" - Online Resources
