- He was found guilty of the murder of his 17-year-old victim in Croydon, South East London, on 25 September 2013. He stabbed his victim repeatedly to the chest with a kitchen knife in an unprovoked attack. His victim suffered a wound to the heart and died later in hospital. He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility,
on day four of his murder trial, claiming that he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder following the sudden death of his older half-brother.
The judge said: "You deliberately picked up the knife, you went to the lounge with it and used it in anger to kill... This was rightly described as a senseless killing of someone you had only met and been with for a few minutes... You have deprived a family of a much loved son, grandson, and brother.... Dr Joseph described you succinctly as a 'budding psychopath' with a potential for violence, and your criminal record supports that" - Online Resources
