If the trial came to an end, i.e. the defendant was found guilty, the Judge most probably adjourned the sentence for reports. This means he wants to find out about the defendant\'s circumstances, social. personal & economic, in order to give him the right sentence. It will most probably be listed in approximately 3-4 weeks time so keep looking

can anyone tell me what it means when a case suddenly dissapears off of the hearings list,i\'ve been following a trial for 9 days and now it no longer appears on the hearings list,can\'t find anything on the sentences pages either. thank you
